Not high art, but a shot I like nonetheless. In the last 20 years, Jersey City (and to a lesser extent Hoboken) has been adding many a tall building to the waterfront. The skyline is nice enough that, occasionally, tourists riding the ferries across the Hudson mistake Jersey City for part of NYC, and get confused as to why the boat is going in the wrong direction. The JC waterfront is kind of like a movie set though, with the average building height dropping significantly a few blocks off the water. NYC suffers no such fate. Shot taken from Hoboken in Sept., with the Verrazano Narrows bridge in the distance.
