A couple misc panos

Post by dsp » Sun Apr 21, 2013 10:41 pm

Some spare time to work through some folders, and found some pics. I'd say I'm really happy with only one of them, but I think it is fun to post all of 'em.

Only happy with one of them?

I'd be very happy to be able to claim any of them, well done!

Thanks Terje,
I do like them all, but I just haven't been able to find a projection that I *really* like for number 1. The bunker shot is nice in full size, but it is hard to convey the atmosphere. This was the third room, deep in a hillside. Only the first room had a small window (that I climbed through), and then a few short corriders/corners. It really was absolutely pitch black, and the likelihood of anyone finding you within a few weeks if you stumbled into one of the holes or hit something seemed low! The last WTC shot is a nice documentary shot (for me anyway) with the full size version letting you see many of the details of the ongoing construction. My favorite, at least in the sense of being finished, is the rock off shore. The long exposure blended the waves quite well, so the seam is invisible, but the birds are still sharp enough.
cheers, dsp

I do agree re. nr 1:

The left end of the bridge seems a bit wrong!

It is still a very nice pano, I assume you've tried the various experimental projections in PTasm?

It's really amazing to see that kind of images. Would you like to share some information about these pictures how you get that kind of pictures ?
