Hello DSP

Wow, what a change of the skyline since 1977 when I visited Shanghai.(Then we still got the red books on board our vessel as literature).
It was a depressing place in that era coming from Europe.
Googled for the Bund for more pictures and found on Wikipedia that this picture is the skyline of Pudong, taken from the Bund.

Yeah, I guess I should have said "From the Bund". That said, the "classical" European buildings held my interest much less - if you go to many cities, they would simply be the buildings, as opposed to something special. It was amazing generally to see the development, as what 20 years of direct infrastructure spending can do. Quite impressive in all the places I visited in China.
