64-bit version of PTA helper programs

Post by dsp » Sat Jan 05, 2013 10:06 am

Max has taken many of the memory intensive features of PTA to 64-bit, but there are still a few accessory programs that aren't commonly available in 64-bit versions. I have built a few 64-bit versions, and have gotten a few from others. I am happy to share them, with the only caveat that though they work fine for me, I can't guarantee their performance on your machine, nor offer any real support. That said, here they are...They have been tested with my Windows 7 64-bit and Windows XP 64-bit machines. I include a version of enblend 3.2 for completeness, although I think for any enblend users, the preferred version is the recently recently released 64-bit versions of enblend 4.1 on their site http://sourceforge.net/projects/enblend ... nfuse-4.1/.

64-bit panomatic (change ".xex" back to ".exe"...) http://dspimage.com/pano_utils/Panomatic_64.xex
64-bit enblend 3.2 (as above...) http://dspimage.com/pano_utils/enblend_64.xex

As described in another thread, panomatic is still memory agressive, so if you have big pictures (ala Nikon D800) you still may run out of free physical memory before you run out of cores, so you may have to limit this per this thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6571

Happy panomaking,
Darcy
