Technical notes re. a call for assistance:
After losing my PTAsmblr.ini file, I have spent more
hours of my life going in circles, than I want to
admit, but, a few minutes ago, my pride was just
pitched into the trash can.
As best I can tell, all the PTA plugins/helper programs
are properly installed, and no error message is noted
when I start PTA. It checks for PTAStitcher, at
startup.
During umpteen tests of different two image auto-create
"panos", control points are automatically generated,
using Autopano, or Panomatic, or ..., and the
optimization is completed faster than the speed of
light. So fast that I cannot read the flashing DOS
screens.
The same symptoms occurs if I create control points,
manually, and then optimize with the Manual Optimize
button of the step 4 screen.
The Optimizer Output screen has a variation of this, depending on which two images I use:
p w3385 h4900 f1 u20 v18.2 p"0,0,0,0" n"TIFF_m c:LZW r:CROP"
# Image 0 (J:\100CANON\Miscellaneous Converted\converted\c.tif)
i w3170 h4762 f0 y0 p0 r2.6875 v17.0444 a0 b0.0001 c0 d0 e0 g0 t0
# Image 1 (J:\100CANON\Miscellaneous Converted\converted\d.tif)
i w3170 h4762 f0 y0 p0 r2.6875 v=0 a=0 b=0 c=0 d=0 e=0 g=0 t=0
c n0 N1 x2648 y3255 X89 Y3285 t0
c n0 N1 x2694 y944 X128 Y975 t0
c n0 N1 x2788 y2052 X226 Y2079 t0
c n0 N1 x2822 y362 X251 Y389 t0
c n0 N1 x3085 y785 X518 Y813 t0
v p1 r1 y1 b0
x m1 s0 x0.05 y0.000001 i0 p0
Along with some ludicrous statistics and a "Hint" that
the largest and worst cp optimized distance is "0.000",
the Optimized Distance column of gui page 3 is
completely blank for each set of control points.
The preview pano process paints the first warped image
first, then immediately paints the second warped image
over the first. The full pano shows nothing more than
than what appears to be a cropped first image...
Personal notes, re. the request for assistance:
It is my theory that the optimization process occurs so
fast that I suspect the data radiates from the
circuitry at the speed of light, passing through minute
holes in the computer case, to exit the Earthly domain,
never to be seen again; lost in the cosmic noise. My
subsequent efforts to locate and plug the computer case
data leaks has been fruitless and frustrating.
My wife has her bags packed, again, and the dogs bailed
out earlier this morning. If I do not move away from
the computer, soon, all is lost.
Is there a Saviour in the house? A helper? Someone
more PTA savvy than me? Dis appliance operator has left
his pride in the trashcan, and is hollerin' for help...

It isn't clear what the symptoms are yet, but if whatever problem you have identified happens whether you create control points manually, or a helper program creates control points, then my guess is that the helper program probably isn't at fault. If you want to read the optimizer output (PTAStitcher only), then I recommend using the "Pause after completion" option accessible via the "Configure Optimizer" button on the Step 4 screen.

The optimizer requires some information as input (i.e. control point locations, image size, etc.) and produces some information as output (generally the positions of the images that "best fit" the location of the control points. What you posted looks like the "input
data" (i.e. what can be seen by pressing the "Show script" button on the Step 4 screen), rather than the output data (i.e. what shows up in the "optimizer output" screen after the optimizer has been run manually).
It isn't clear to me what the problem is, but posting both the input script (which I think is what you already posted) and the output information would at least allow me to make a reasonable guess as to whether the optimizer appears to have run correctly. Finally, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, without the information outlined in the Bugs and Problems section of the help file, I'm really fumbling in the dark. For example, I don't even know which optimizer program (PTAStitcher or PTOptimizer) you were using, which might be a good thing to know if we are trying to debug a problem with the optimizer!
